ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The second UkrMiCo conference is held with the participation of  IEEE Ukraine Section, IEEE Ukraine Section (Kharkiv) SP/AP/C/EMC/COM Societies Joint Chapter, IEEE Ukraine Section (Kyiv) ED/MTT/CPMT/SSCS/COM Societies Joint Chapter followed by a recommendation for inclusion in IEEE publications.

UkrMiCo logically continues the traditions of International Crimean Microwave Conferences (CriMiCo), only since 2016 in mainland Ukraine.

UkrMiCo is supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine that promotes and oversees research and innovation activities at the Ukrainian universities in research priority areas.

UkrMiCo organizers are currently working toward obtaining IEEE conference registration.

In 2016, 56 papers presented at the first UkrMiCo were recommended for publication in IEEE Xplore Digital Library (indexed by Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar, and other databases).

The conference enjoys leading IT and telecommunications companies support to bring businesses and universities closer together.      

Important Dates

11 September, Monday – registration of participants

12 September, Tuesday – opening session – welcome and keynote speech    

13–15 September, Wednesday–Friday – regular sessions    

15 September, Friday – final plenary session

The conference is hosted by O.S. Popov Odessa National Academy of Telecommunications, located in Odessa, Ukraine.

There will be plenary and breakout sessions.

Plenary session presentation should not exceed 20 minutes.

Breakout sessions presentations should be limited to 10 minutes.

Translation services will be available upon request.

Multimedia projectors for PowerPoint presentations will be provided.

IMPORTANT NOTE. The authors should submit no more than TWO papers. The number of authors submitting one paper is limited to four persons.

CONFERENCE PROGRAM

Conference management system EasyChair will be used for peer-reviewing of the submitted materials.

Upon paper acceptance notification, please email the applicaion form to ukrmico@kpi.ua no later than 27 June, 2017.

The conference program will be available online by 31 July, 2017.

Authors are fully responsible for the quality of their papers and proper formatting. Selected papers will be published in the conference proceedings.

The best papers in English, four pages or more in length, will be recommended for inclusion in IEEE publications (indexed by Scopus, Web of Science, Google Scholar etc.).
